Mr. Michael, good morning,

When we decided to build a small house in the village of Agios Arsenios in Naxos three years ago, we had not considered the possibility of a prefabricated house. The architect we commissioned to design the house suggested that we build a stone or wooden house, in order to utilize all the square meters of construction that our small plot allowed us. So we abandoned the conventional concrete construction.

A new sector was opening up for us, that of prefabricated wooden houses, (after the stone version was rejected) which we began to study and research initially through the internet and then through contacts with the corresponding companies in the sector. Until we decided to visit you. The exhibition of houses, which you have placed with such care in Agia Paraskevi, was extremely attractive. The construction details, the quality of the building materials as well as the aesthetic result that was in harmony with ours, impressed us. However, the contact we had with you afterwards was decisive. Your personality, Mr. Michalis, captivated us. You filled us with optimism, self-confidence and above all relaxation that everything can be done calmly without stress and difficulties. Even for the narrowness that characterized the location of our plot (narrow roads, access to materials, etc.) you had a solution. We had no doubt at the end of the discussion that you would build our house in Naxos. The Kofinas company was our guarantee for an innovative, complete and high-quality solution.

It was the only option for us, as it turned out later and in practice, because it was impossible to complete a house on the island, while we were living in Athens, in such a short period of time. Regardless of the spectacular way in which the construction was completed, as planned and supported at all stages by you, I must admit that the seasonality that characterizes construction on Naxos, the development path of the island in recent years, and the shortage of workers in construction make it very difficult to complete a private residence because de facto priority is given to professional spaces (hotels, rooms to rent), which are the permanent customers.

All your teams are worthy of congratulations for the patience, perseverance and skill they demonstrated during the transportation and placement of materials in our difficult-to-access areas at all stages of the work. The loyalty they demonstrate to the company name, their specialized experience from your long-term cooperation, filled us with confidence, security and undoubted success for the final result. As the implementation of the project progressed, it became clear to us that our house, although small, was quite difficult and complex in terms of design with irregular sides and uneven parts. Nevertheless, your people worked tirelessly and non-stop, striving for the best, satisfying our every wish. We congratulate them!

Our construction, which began on February 26th and was aimed at being completed by April 10th at the latest in order to catch the start of the tourist season on the island, found itself in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and now faced with all the difficulties that arose from the related bans. The problems are great. But the efforts of all of you to move the project forward were particularly impressive. We achieved a small miracle against all the adversities, social distancing and the peculiar conditions created by the unprecedented restrictions of the pandemic.

Our close and excellent cooperation, even from this distance between Athens and Naxos, provided solutions and contributed decisively to the smooth completion of the construction.

We faced problems with shortages of materials that we had decided on and had to proceed with replacing them with others, through photographs, purchasing additional materials on the island, and transporting an unaccompanied package to the ship to make sure everything was done as it should be.

The only observation we have to make is the following: Our house was designed by engineers of our choice, who to your honor accepted to undertake its construction, collaborating closely and accepting their plans. This fact made the presence of your own engineer-supervisor necessary throughout the entire implementation of the project. We believe that his presence would ensure the proper implementation of the plans, would deal with unforeseen construction issues in practice and would eliminate errors and omissions. However, the circumstances did not allow us to do so. This project was undertaken by the teams themselves and they carried it out with skill. All of them are remarkable craftsmen with common characteristics of politeness, calmness, hard work and effective cooperation. All of them are very capable. Each in his field. Of course, nothing would have happened if it weren't for your supporting force, who in your own way bridged the gap.

Our house is "a little diamond" in Naxos, as you rightly described it, and we completely agree, as do other people who have been curiously following its progress every day.

Nothing was left to chance, you satisfied our every wish with more than enough, such as the hatch that was not in our original plans.

However, our wish to have everything built by your own craftsmen was respected without any special formalities. This is the big – most important difference that characterizes your company. You bend over your customer with love and make sure that he does not stress and remains satisfied until the end. The construction flows and everything is completed “by magic wand”!!! This is our final impression. An excess was made on the island. You have refuted the well-known proverb “he who has not built a house knows nothing”

WE CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU FROM THE HEART...

OUR DREAM CAME TRUE...

Sincerely,

Costas Margaritis
