It continuously introduces new elements in the construction of homes, which are recognized and “certified”, both by our hundreds of satisfied customers and by the National Technical University of Athens, where the unique building system of Kofinas company was tested for its durability, surpassing every natural limit of resistance.  

As part of a global development, the company has also focused on the energy sector of construction.

The use of Swedish and Finnish timber as the main building material makes the house completely ecological, since in the construction of houses, replacing conventional building materials with wood reduces carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by 1.1 tons per cubic meter. Especially when the company collaborates with Swedish and Finnish timber production plants, in which for every tree that is cut down, three to five new ones are planted, essentially producing a negative carbon footprint.

In addition, the residences are designed in a bioclimatic manner so that through openings, shading systems, orientation and mechanical equipment, the necessary indoor climatic conditions are created and energy is saved for heating, cooling and lighting.
