The passive building <strong>is not a brand, but a design concept<\/strong> that is open to everyone and has been proven in practice. the &quot;free&quot; heat, which through the exchanger moves to the <strong>fresh air <\/strong> which enters the house.<\/li>\n<li>The cool exterior <strong>fresh air <\/strong>enters the exchanger, <strong>receives the heat <\/strong>of the rejected <strong>stale air<\/strong> and enters the house during the winter months, while during the summer the rejected <strong>stale air<\/strong> cools the \u2013 warmer \u2013 incoming<strong> fresh air<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In case the above system is combined with a geothermal setup (the <strong>fresh air<\/strong> first passes through ground heat exchangers,) the benefits both during winter and during summer are multiplied.<\/li>\n<li>The cost of an expensive conventional heating\/cooling system can be avoided and economic benefits can be attributed to better <strong>insulation<\/strong>, improved <strong>airtightness<\/strong>, <strong>window frames<\/strong>, <strong>ventilation system <\/strong>and an economical backup heating system..<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n            \n            \n            \n            \n            \n        <\/div>\n    <\/li>\n\n\n    \n    <li>\n        <div class=\"uk-panel\">\n\n            \n            \n                        <h3 class=\"uk-panel-title\">Earnings and savings<\/h3>\n            \n            \n                        <div class=\"uk-margin\"><div class=\"uk-grid\">\n<div class=\"uk-width-medium-1-4\">\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"uk-align-left\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/kofinas\/passive-house\/passive-house-price-benefits-1.gif\" alt=\"Passive house price benefits\">      <\/div>\n<div class=\"uk-width-medium-3-4\">\n<p class=\"uk-text-justify\">An indicative cost of a 100 sq.m. passive house is <strong>10 % larger<\/strong> than a standard house of our company.
