Mouzakis, Scientific Director, NTUA<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. L. Karapitta, NTUA Researcher<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. V.K. Dertimanis, Researcher, NTUA<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"kf-justify\">with the aim of expanding the application of the prefabricated wooden buildings of the company KOFINAS to multi-storey structures, further acquiring the company&#039;s know-how and improving its competitiveness in the construction sector.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"kf-underline\">The technical report of the NTUA scientists states, among other things, the following:<\/h4>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"uk-width-1-4 alignleft\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/kofinas\/ntua-experiments\/emp-technical-report-2012.jpg\" alt=\"Technical report by NTUA scientists\"><\/p>\n<dl class=\"uk-description-list uk-description-list-line uk-width-3-4 kf-justify\">\n<dt>\n<h5 class=\"kf-underline\">Benefits for participants<\/h5>\n<\/dt>\n<dd>Participants will develop new scientific knowledge, taking into account the response of wooden structures. In particular, KOFINAS S.A. is expected to have a high utilization of the results, with the construction of a modern and extremely competitive structure.<\/dd>\n<dt>\n<h5 class=\"kf-underline\">Benefits for society<\/h5>\n<\/dt>\n<dd>The final product is expected to be a positive step towards fulfilling the green design philosophy. The cost of the resulting construction will be highly competitive, affordable and attractive to society, with obvious economic and environmental advantages.
