MAXIMUM ALLOWED THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY VALUE (U)
(the smaller U value of your climate zone (area) is, the better insulation is needed)
The natural rockwool offers exceptional thermo-insulation, sound insulation and resistance to fire (Α1 category – inflammable material). It is produced from volcanic minerals such as basalt, limestone, dolomite, and bauxite. The minerals, as raw materials, are initially fused in an electric furnace. This innovative method, being far more advantageous than the blast furnace commonly applied, allows for the improved control of the melt’s temperature and the levels of polluting sulfur and nitrogen oxide (SOX and NOX) gas emissions of the electric furnace are significantly lower than those of the blast method.
Thermoprosopsis with self extinguishing and waterproof polystyrene, impact resistive. The elastic silicon-based plaster does not allow the forming of cracks and enhances the water proof properties of the wall.
Thermoprosopsis with inflammable mineral wool, Α1 category. The elastic silicon-based plaster does not allow the forming of cracks and enhances the water proof properties of the wall.
Using these metal brackets, the construction is firmly connected to the reinforced concrete base. This way, we have a “tight” construction with improved mechanical strength and better antiseismic behavior.
Gypsum board from Knauf company, 12,5mm thick, that complies with the German DIN 18180 standard. They have natural gypsum and biological control certifications.
The impregnated beams (NTR-A type) at the bottom of each wall waterproof and protect the logs from wear that could occur from possible moisture accumulation on the concrete base, further enhancing the durability of the construction.
OSB of 11.5 mm thickness, imported from Canada (LP factory), category 2-3, water resistant with great mechanical strength. This material forms a more solid wall, allowing us to hang any weight on our walls without the need to use an upat. (It is worth noting that Kofinas company is the only one that imports this OSB from Canada for its superior quality and that it is the first in worldwide sales.)
Swedish: which means that it is very compact.
Pine: which offers greater resistance to humidity.
Dried: which means that the hydration is at 15-16% (ideal for house construction).
Ecological: which means that the timber does not contain chemical loads and that the Swedish Wood Industry policy aids at the absorption of CO2.
C24 class: which means that it has great mechanical strength.
Connection of separate wall parts using TORX screws, which offer a more solid connection, since they allow us to better control the screwing torque applied.
Offers insulation to the construction and protection against humidity without allowing the forming of vapor that could gradually corrupt the construction.
