Der Referent versucht zun\u00e4chst, das Konzept von Holz als biologischem Material und seine Hauptnachteile zu erl\u00e4utern und seine wichtigsten biotischen und abiotischen \u201eFeinde\u201c darzustellen. Anschlie\u00dfend wird das Konzept der Risikoklassifizierung f\u00fcr Holzkonstruktionen analysiert und die Widerstandsklassen pro Nutzung (Nutzungsklassen) erl\u00e4utert, die in direktem Zusammenhang mit der biologischen Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit von Holzarten auf Basis der Spezifikation EN 350 stehen. Anschlie\u00dfend folgt ein kurzer historischer R\u00fcckblick Im Holzbau werden alte Techniken zum Schutz und zur Konservierung von Holz im Zusammenhang mit Teer, Natur\u00f6len und Naturharzen vorgestellt. Unter den modernen Schutztechniken wird die Holzimpr\u00e4gniertechnik vorgestellt und technische und sonstige Informationen zu diesem Thema sowie zu deren korrekter Anwendung und Anwendung gegeben.
