Der Dozent behandelte grundlegende und spezielle Konzepte im Zusammenhang mit diesem nat\u00fcrlichen Material, die der neue Ingenieur - Designer - Forscher verstehen sollte, damit es m\u00f6glich ist, Holz in Anwendungen und Konstruktionen richtig einzusetzen. Zus\u00e4tzlich wurden Elemente im Zusammenhang mit den makroskopischen, physikalischen und mikroskopischen Eigenschaften von Holz analysiert. Auch seine Bedeutung wurde diskutiert <em>Risikobewertung<\/em> \u00fcber Holzkonstruktionen und lieferte technische Informationen, die der neue Ingenieur \u00fcber eine Holz- oder Verbundkonstruktion wissen sollte. Haltbarkeitsklassen pro Verwendung erkl\u00e4rt <em>(Gebrauchsklassen) <\/em>der wichtigsten Holzarten, die in direktem Zusammenhang mit seiner biologischen Best\u00e4ndigkeit stehen, basierend auf der Norm EN 350. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurde kurz auf die europ\u00e4ische Norm EN 338 eingegangen, die die Klassifizierung von Bauholz anhand seiner mechanischen Festigkeit betrifft.
